Gentlemen,
Now that the construction of buildings is well under way, I need rules and models. I've ordered the LOTOW Rulebook and both blisters of Pinkerton Detectives from Artizan. Also, there's a blister of six Foundry guys called "The Shootists" that I threw on as well. Pics for those who are interested:

That will be twelve models in all. I'm thinking of fielding a Lawmen posse. My loose back story will be something like... the old guy holding his hat might be the small town sheriff. When the outlaws start over running his town and giving more than he can handle, through some connection he calls in a group of pinkerton men to deal with the riff raff.
There are three other guys in the group. I think one of them is interested in doing "Pimps & Hoes" (Outlaws), another is doing Mexican Banditos using the Outlaw Posse (unless he wants to buy "The Alamo"), and the third guy is undecided.
Anyway, we hope to have things up and running by the end of October or before. When the pictures and the battle reports start you know I'll be posting here.
Later,
J

Ya oughta throw some unarmed townsfolk in there, too, to run around and get in the way. :)

if you are looking for civillians check out Blue Moon they are very nice(check my site for some painted blue Moon figures). I also Like Black Scorpion for cowboys some people think they are to big but I still like them.

You may want to check out Gutshot! from Hawgleg Publishing, too.
It's a very nice set of fairly simple rules meant for down to 1 mini a side (you can play semi-rpg-style with the system).
It could get you started with only a few minis painted :)

Dixons do a lot of nice civilians, a little smaller than Artizan, but they have a piano player, a card table and a nice stage and passengers along with a buckboard.

There's also Knuckleduster. They do some interiors, too :)
