And Bob finally does some more from the stockpile.
Firstly, I added a couple more Hospitallers with spears and a Grand Master/Wizard, accompanied by his faithful hunting dog familliar:

Then a little conversion:

And with the whole hound pack:

A very small shieldwall:

And just because she was lovely and looked the part, a very old Ral Partha figure by Werner Klocke, who I have christened Gurt Hilde:

Hope you like. :)

Yup, definitely like those! :-*
-
Love the handler - inspired genius and wonderful execution. Who's figures?
-
Cheers boys.
Svennn, the dwarves are all Hasslefree except for Gurt Hilde, and the dogs are from Warlord Games. I think they look just right together though.
-
Fantastic. This is my dwarven ideal -- rough, grim fighters defending their homeland. Games Workshop can keep its tottering, drunken dwarves who are always three sheets to the wind.
-
The dog handler is inspired and wonderfully executed!

Very attractively painted, the dogs in particular.

You have been busy?
Been a long time since I have seen any of your stuff.
Cracking job :-* :-* :-*
-
Super looking figures.
Great color combos on the figures.
-
Great little fellas 8)
cheers

:o :o
That doggy and handler is brilliant.
Looks like your long lay-off the brushes has let you come back stronger than ever. Lovely collection, and yes, this is how dwarves should look.
-
Love them!
-
Very lovely indeed. I've just been looking through a graphic novel version of The Hobbit and it has a very Dark Age feel to it. These dwarves perfectly capture its tone.
-
FANTASTIC! You do paint up some WONDERFUL STUFF when you put your mind to it...OUTSTANDING brushwork. VERY WELL DONE!
-
Delightful, loads of character. ;D
-
That's a lovely lot of dwarves!
You're calling these "More" Feudal Dwarves, implying there's a previous lot... Where could one view these?
-
Lovely painting there. Especially like the dog handler conversion! Where did you get the chain from?
-
Modhail: if you search this board for Dwarves Hospitaller it will bring up my first lot of Hasslefree stunties.
McFonz: it's just fine jewellery chain, also available from Hasslefree.
@ Malamute: thank yew. :D

I really like the look of those figures and you have painted them up beautifully!
Cheers,

Those are absolutely gorgeous. I have a few of these but so far haven't taken a brush to them. I particularly like the way you've done the shields.
-
They are exacty how I imagine dwarfs should be - absolutely fantastic, gritty painting and some inspired ideas. :-* :o
-
Very nice minis and very nice painting!

Thanks guys, much appreciated. :)
