Every year for me. It's my local one. :D
Participation games sound interesting this year. Can hardly contain my excitement.

OK so I have just seen this and am very interested as it is 'quite close' to me haha.
It will be my first wargames event (been to many model railway exhibitions) and so am wondering two things.
1 Will there be a forum meet up?
2 How do I get there from the station? haha

2 How do I get there from the station? haha
Southwest a bit on Queen's Road, then turn right onto The Mount, finally turn left onto Knavesmire Road.
Actually went that way on foot back in 2011, a mere 2 km and at some times faster than waiting for the bus (which only stops a bit away from the racecourse, anyway, IIRC).

I shall wait to see what the weather is like in the morning and if nice I shall set off for the bus from hull and then walk from the station.
I do believe I shall be able to find it with those directions and a few others from various people haha.

I usually walk from the station area to the racecourse. 10 minutes speed walking or 15-20 for a light stroll.
It's a pretty direct route. Here's a link to a map.

Just got home. Had a great time. Spent too much money, got some lovely new toys and played the RAF Wargamers Predator game. We lost. :D
Here's some pics my friend took. He set the facebook gallery to public so you should be able to see it.
