Hello.
We are using, in our local club the excelllent "Regimental Fire & Fury" rulebook for our ACW games but I am (being myself a "rulesets hunter") reading "Across a Deadly Field", thinking about to use this ruleset in my own games. What do you think about this rulebook?
On the other hand, there are some pictures of that game based in the Battle of Port Republic:

There some more pictures and a short AAR in my blog ;): http://adfinis2014.blogspot.com.es/2014/12/civil-wars.html
Cheers and a Happy New Year!!!

I saw ADF at Historicon this year, looked okay but no better than F&F.
At Historicon it was hailed as a new breakthrough by John Hill so if you like his previous rules then no doubt one will be pleased with these.
There was 1 thread on ADF here

Personally I will stick with F&F Brigade or Regimental as I also play Age of Eagles.
