A mate of mine asked me to paint these 10 figures as the Alabama Red Rovers, so this is my take on them. He is going to base them to fit in with his collection and add a flag. I don't know much about this unit other than they dyed their buckskins red, so Ive painted them in civilian clothing with a red buckskin and no other uniform features.
I know I've said this before and I am not a sock puppet for the company I promise, but these are lovely figures to paint, full of character.

Wow, lovelly paintjob on these Alabama Red Rovers. :-* :-*

Excellent brushwork, you've done a cracking job on them. ;D

Great looking unit. I funnily enough was just finished refreshing the Texan Flags about an hour ago. Id love to paint some of these figs up. I have the New Orleans Greys that i bought some time ago.
Boot hill have a great range but sadly i have no need for the mounted figures which always puts me off them.
