Very nice,  where did the dinosaur bones come from?

I believe it's a model kit Mike found in his adventures.

Stupendous. That table is a triumph.

Very imaginative. Very well done. Great fun to have a skirmish over I'm sure.
Makes me want to have a crack at something similar!  ;)

Mike will correct me if I am wrong but I think it's 2'x3' or thereabouts.

It all looks awesome stuff to me? :-*

I guess the story was about some strange monster at the dig which the investigators had to find/kill except it killed them?

Yep, the Scenario played was Monster Attack!, where the Lurkers get to spend all their points on 1 model, and the goal is to remove all the models from one side off the table.  In this case, Mike's Threshold Agents are worth around 30 points, similar to Warband ratings, which let Cam choose the Godling, valued at 30 points.  And it wiped him out.

Earlier in the evening, my Threshold Agents, who's value was 19 at the time, played the same scenario against a Winged Nightmare.  Luckily my GenCon dice, and lucky card draws saved the day.  And Tommy Guns.  I love me some Tommy guns.

WoW! Can't believe how good it looks...thanx for posting those pix man! Just finished the edging today. This will be Strange Aeons Demo Board #1. The table will be 2x4 in the end...with all the dice boxes and minitrays. The actual playable surface is standard 2x3. The dino was an $80 teachers aid from Toys r Us, the box had been dropped and badly damaged...but the canny shopper was able to peek inside to see the dino unharmed! And a steal at $9!!! I gotta say a 2x3 allows for a way more susinct (sp?) feel. It is easier to make less stuff look more dynamic...what to do next? Crashed Spaceship? Cyclopean Ruins? Hmmm... ;D

Second that. Actually, you should do a spaceship crashed into cylopean ruins. ;)

Lovely table. That dinosaur skeleton is totally pulpey. As much as an ardent Cthulhu fan (mainly the stories) I am, it wouldn´t look wrong for "Roy Chapman Andrews vs. the Chinese Aphrodisiac Triads looking for dragon bones" games, either.

Oh yeah! That's the ticket right there. That would be a blast to play on...

'succinct' - Weird looking word, ain't it!  :D

Looking at this table makes me think that there maybe great things that could be done with a Cthulhu skeleton... It could be easier than making a 3 foot tall version of the beasty. One of these days I will have my giant Cthulhu, maybe when I buy some shares in Milliput.

I wonder if Cthulhu's tentacles have bones?

Love the tabe BTW, not been a gamer in a long time, but it would make an amazing diorama, I've a terminator army that would fit in there rather well.......

I don't think Cthulhu's tentacles would have bones. Seems very out of place and would make them less flexible and more limb-like IMO.

That table's beautiful, excellent piece!
