Title: Random Collection of 28mm Fantasy Figs Painted Up
Post by: Warren Abox on 02 January 2015, 09:07:46 PM
Some friends lured my son and I into a 5th edition D&D game, and the DM has spent a lot of time drawing up full scale maps for most of the major encounter areas.  For the last few months we've been pushing proxy figures around, and I wanted to do something nice for the group for Christmas.  Two problems in search of the same solution.  Using Reaper Mini's excellent figure finder, I was able to find a small collection of figures that better illustrate our party.  But naked lead , while nice, doesn't go nearly far enough to repay our DM's efforts at giving us nice battlemats.  So I painted them up:

Dwarf tank - original figure came with an axe and a hammer, but this character wields two hammers.  Best I could do without a spare weapon sprue was a mace.

Half-dragon paladin - this is where the dwarve's axe wound up.

Cleric of Helm - the player wanted black and silver, but I had to add a splash of color on the shield.

Our long distance specialist, an archer style rogue.

Our spellcaster is some sort of half-demon death mage.
