The film centres on the life and loves of Ottoman pilots who served during the Gallipoli campaign and is due to be released in March.
Apparently 4 planes used by the Ottomans were reconstructed according to the movie PR blerb.
Rivet counters note that the aircraft markings are incorrect for 1915 otherwise some nice scenes and good production in the trailers at least.

Indeed!! Overall, the production values look impressive, with some nice touches.
The world needs more flying Great War replica aeroplanes, of every ilk!!
Just to renew my button whizzin', rivet countin' curmudgeon bona fides, they do look awfully clean though...
Mind you, grubby done poorly is equally offensive, yet I got the idea that neither dust nor mud loomed large in the designer's palette... Ditto grease, grime & gunpowder.
Still, it looks quite tasty, & I'd certainly admire to see this one!!

Hmmm...British pilot shooting a nun in the back with a pistol, eh?

Nothing real about those flying airplanes, they look CGI to me. And the whole thing looks "Western" vis-a-vis music, action, drama, scene construction, etc. Still, it might be an entertaining film regardless of trying to look and sound like a Western blockbuster action flick....
