Title: Killer Nazi cows!
Post by: jp1885 on 07 January 2015, 01:49:55 PM
Apparently the Third Reich genetically engineered killer cows and planned to let them loose in Europe for their supermen to hunt. A section of killer cows would make an interesting WWW2 unit!

Here's a link to a BBC news report, where a UK farmer has had to cull some of his herd because they were attacking his workers  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-30703082

A UK farmer with killer "Nazi" German originated cows..

There's British for you,

Guess that's not a field of cows to lie down or hang about in then...if thats your kind of thing.

"No Corporal don't try to milk them!! - they don like it up 'em!"

Goering didn't want "cows like aurochs" - he wanted real aurochs, along with real Tarpan. The idea was that you could "resurrect" an extinct animal by cross-breeding similar animals possessing characteristics of the desired breed.
(That is of course impossible, though you could end up with a very similar species.)

National Geographic made a documentary about these experiments, entitled Hitler's Jurassic Monsters ( lol ). You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtUP2qMcm4U
