Some of my friends made 3D boards to play Zombicide:

That looks fantastic to play on

Very nice, it's so hard for me to play on flat boards nowadays. I'd love to see this :)
-
I have similar ambitions, and this is an inspiration - brilliant! 8) 8) 8)

Absolutely magnificent!

Fantastic.

Nice. Any source for the wall textures?
-
Fantastic work. Would love to do something like that eventually.
-
this looks still like a boardgame but has the charme of a wargame.
Much better than the "out of the box" look
Great job.

Looks like Crooked Dice's 7tv set designer could come in handy for this. Now to find the time ::)

:-* Well thats a bit lovely!

This is awesome!
It looks like printed walls, where did the designs come from?
I would love to do something similar.

and a few tens of metres of foamcore. ;)

Thanks guys :)
(um, I say "thanks" but personaly I did not take part in this magnificent creation) ::)
The walls are 3mm foamcore; and wallpaper from this website:
http://www.modelpaperworld.com/en/12--buildings
(slightly different resolutions were necessary for outside/inside because of size differences)
The floors of the buildings are 4mm foamcore, with photocopies of the original board glued on it (spray glue only).
Add some white glue on the walls edges for solidity.
The cars are toys.

Thanks very much. Excellent resource.

That's pretty darn cool.
How do you handle the different door positions in different missions?
-
Bravo!
I give you and your friends rousing standing ovations.
-
Very nice job! Really makes the game a lot better looking! This is definately something that seems like a good idea to try out myself. Thanks for the inspiration!

Um, to be clearer: it's the board tiles which are 4mm foamcore; the walls are glued on them, the buildings have no independant floors.
How do you handle the different door positions in different missions?
Doors have been made separately, with their own base, so they can be displayed closed (1st picture), or open in any position (2nd picture), sorry my camera was not steady enough:

(but when they are open the players find more convenient to remove them from the board than to keep them in some open position).
More pictures soon from the game at "Terminus Ludi" convention last Saturday.

Cool. Thanks for sharing.

...some of you will probably recognize the gentleman in a blue shirt pretending to be a zombie on the last picture...

That looks great! Now the only thing missing are some sort of clips to hold the tiles together...the way the tiles slide around during a game drives me absolutely bonkers... >:( lol
-
Like it a lot. Great!!! :o
Have some ideas of my own, but also have so many zombies still to paint...
-
VERY nice, I am totally impressed!
