Little Drummer Boy...
Postby Von Richter ยป Sat Jan 31, 2015 11:04 pm

There's a 28mm figure, think it's for the Zulu War called 'Saving the Boy'. It's a British soldier, bayonet fixed, with a drummer boy sheltering behind him at some hard pressed last stand. I want to add this to the collection, but have a question... does anybody make a separate drum in 28mm, as I'd like one lying on the ground with a Fuzzy- Wuzzy's spear stuck in it, on the base?

???

Don't know about metals but I've just had a quick glance at some of the Perry plastic boxed sets and most of the command sprues seem to have separate drums.

If I remember correctly the Perry plastic ACW sets have spare drums(?). Probably among other plastic sets they have done too?

Darrell.

Right I've just been up the shed and looked through my spares box, I've got one and I've even got a spare Assegai with the tip broken off ( which won't matter because it's going to be thrust into the drum).
Pm me your address and I'll send it to you, I don't want anything for it maybe you can return the favour in the future if I ever need anything.

Still, you've got a nice kind offer from Jeff out of it. It would be rude to turn down generosity from a fellow LAFer.  :)

But, then again I am a Yorkshireman, and them Perry chappies do cost a full pound. Thanks Jeff965, that's absolutely spiffing old chap.
