Excellent! I'll be making a couple of these for sure.

I picked mine up at a Dicast toy fare. A stall holder was selling 'Kinder Surprise' toys from a big box at 10p a toy. I got 6 Canoes and 6 boats for my 15mm Ancient Egyptians all for £1.20, mind you I had to fight passed the children gathered around the box.

thanks guys :D
You can find good canoe into the made in chinese western pack available in any kind of toy stores.
The Timpo ones are excellent but now in the collector realm, so could be expansive now.
I think that the carboard can be use too for over boat. Whaler, Canadian bateau, etc...
I have in mind, roman ship for my rome project (see right here (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=63629.0))
;)
i'm working too on biblical egyptian fishing reed boat (for an hyppo big game) but it'll be more difficult... :'(
Cheers

Hobby Lobby also sells a very cheap canoe in their wood products line. Take out all the extraneous details and it makes a passable Indian canoe...
