Keith, the next Sassanid release is supposed to be East Iranian cavalry. Do we have any hint what this will consist of? Specifically, will it contain command, archers, and lancers like the clibanarii that has already been released?

Delbruck

Yes archers, lance upright, lance leveled and a command is what I asked for and Adam agreed. We think that the archers will prove very useful for all sorts of eastern types. We talked about doing the archer masters headless to allow a lot of variants down the line. As always I wait upon Adam to see what comes over my doorstep.

There are few sights lovelier than Persian style cavalry.  The paint jobs are breathtaking.

Keith

Adam has done his usual excellent job.

Questions - any musicians planned?  Specifically drummers and trumpeters?    In terms of future infantry any inkling of what might be in train?

Thanks

Garry

We have no musicians planned, sorry. The infantry will be levy/close formation and light foot. We hope to be able to do them with separate heads so bare headed or helmets etc. will be possible, I don't like the globes.

Thanks Keith.

Should be able to mix Gripping Beast mounted drummers (light and heavy).  A&A do a 'nice' infantry command pack.   Was thinking to use your dismounted clibanarii or say A&A heavy Palmyrans for better quality Sasanid infantry.   Daylami are another possibiliity as they are already in my lead mountain!

Agree about the globes, shame I have a lot of these on my 1970s Lammings and Hinchliffes.

Cheers
