Title: Through the Mud and Blood Base Markers.
Post by: Abwehrschlacht on 08 February 2015, 05:37:24 PM
I recently created a series of base markers for Through the Mud and the Blood, useful for those that base figures on One Pence pieces.

I've provided a download link on my blog here:

Thanks!

These are excellent, but what is the diameter of a one pence piece?

Thanks, sorry, I should have mentioned the diameter! It's about 19mm, so should fit most small coins. I'll add that info to the blog!

That's pretty much the same diameter as a Canadian or American penny, then.

Cool idea - I use pennies for bases almost exclusively. Now that the Canuck penny has gone the way of the dodo I've got a reasonable stockpile laid away and might eventually have to get some American friends to pick up a roll or two of their pennies for me.

I thought most pennies would be about the same across the world, if not, you can just change the percentage size for printing and you should be OK.

I save small change, with the eventual idea of cashing it in at the bank, but I have started raiding the jar for figure bases...
