Absolutely, that lad stands out! Great skin tones. Nicely done.
Grat job on Tintin's jumper as well.
-
Wow! Great work! :-* 8) :-*
Am I crazy or does that Rick figures look like Georges W. Bush… or that boy from Mad Magazine? :?
-
0.o he does look like Dubyuh. Excellent miniatures, I was waiting for ol Tintin to pop up.
-
:-* Not only great painting but also really great photography. You really can see the up close details and appreciate the shading, particularly on the cave boy.
-
Agree, definetely G.W. Bush. Very good painting. And a much better Tintin han I managed. Cool!
-
Great job! What is your flesh formula? The cavemen look especially good.
-
I have painted all those minis myself...and they look nothing like yours. Your painting is wonderful! I love the faces on all the models! WOW!
-
Oh so a nice snowy :)
-
All very nice painting job!

Where does the Rin TinTin come from?

Seems to be some confusion here.
Rin Tin Tin:

Tin-Tin:

Tintin:

The not-Tintin is from the Sleuths pack of the Copplestone Gangsters range.

For flesh I use Vallejo Dark Flesh, Dwarf Flesh and Elf Flesh. I start with a mix of Dark flesh and Dwarf Flesh then highlight up until I am satisfied. I mix the paintes for each mini or group of minis based on how dark or light I want their skin so there is no real formula.

Yep, eyebrows are a feature all too often missed out on minis...
