The sound of thundering hooves is echoing around the hill and valleys, shattering the peace and quiet of the border country. Bandits and raiders beware - the Craswall Border Horse are here!
This unit is made up from those brave and hardy farmers from the Black Mountains that seperate England from Wales, and the wild Black Mountain ponies they have broken in.
Often to be seen at the local horse markets and country fairs, where their rodeo skills entertain and amaze, these skilled horsemen now patrol the border hills and keep the farms and hamlets safe from bandits and raiders.
The figures are mainly Reiver Castings civilian cavalry, with the numbers made up by some converted OOP Pass of the North US cavalry figures I acquired second-hand. More photos can be seen on my blog at http://hereford1938.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/border-horse.html
