Title: 28mm KKK miniatures
Post by: Saucy Jack on 12 February 2015, 09:56:41 AM
In our Deadlands RPG I was thinking about pitting the posse against a group of KKK men. I know this is a sensitive subject and I strongly oppose everything that KKK stand/stood for. I would however like to know whether there are any suitable minis out there - men with grain bags over their head, not in white dresses.

Really any western miniatures with a crudely done sack over the head, the more organized white cloth get ups came mostly later/were for ceremonial purposes, i'd suggest masons scarecrow men.

Pulp Figures? A bit to 1930's, but it depends how realistic you wanted...

There are a few culstists with pointy hats/mask and robes around in the Cthulhu/Lovecraft ranges, I don't know any specific manufacturers but they pop up every now and then in the Strange Aeons forum :)

I am reminded about the very funny scene in Djano Unchained.

Here is a link but I must warn you the language is very offensive and include the 'n-word'.

In spite of the reluctance to paint them up ....they WOULD be fun to kill off!  KKK figure dies...EVERYONE wins!

You have always got to have bad buys. It could be Nazi's, Fascists, KKK, Zombies...the French...

The point is whatever the genre you game it's always good to have a bad guys to shoot at.

Hey, zombies aren't necessarily bad

Unless we're talking about the smell - then I can guarantee it's bad!
