GW just re-launched their Harlequins range. For the first time a multipart plastic set!
I followed their announcements closely and I have to admit, I am deeply tempted to get some. Tempted enough to dust off some of my old RT era minis ...

I repainted the bases from their old school green to my usual standard colours these days. Just like I did for my Guardians.

All the rest stayed pretty much the same. A solid but today unfashionable paint job, I even kept the old colour metallics!

They look great! And I agree the new plastics are awesome

have to disagree with the new models, the vehicles are great, but the old Jes Goodwin sculpts - such the ones Agis has beautifully painted here are much better. The new models lack charm, and the new masks on them are awful. Of course, head swaps can fix that, but the leader looks like he is skipping along in some camp musical, and as pointed out elsewhere, the solitaire looks like they've just been playing assassins creed, awful horns on the face and those bits coming off the base of his coat look ridiculous. A missed opportunity by GW on these :(

They look really nice, the new basing makes a real difference.
-
Oh yes lovely Agis truely lovely.
-
Have to disagree with you: You painting on these is fantastic and not out of fashion at all!
The new models are total rubbish; stupid poses and poor details. Stick with the beautiful old metals. :)
-
Really nice paint work there Agis.
-
Thanks for the encouraging comments on 15 years old paints!
As far as the new models are concerned; I like some some I really dislike.
The new horned (?) Solitaire for example is NOT good.

Lovely paintwork on these 8)

These ara really gorgeous! :-*

Even if the are old, they are cool. I love your style, great work.
-
Very nice paintwork! :-* I do enjoy a well-painted Harlequin - Especially the oldschool ones.
-
Damn nice. I still have the Citadel Journal in which they were featured... ah, that takes me back.
-
Unfashionable my arse!!! They're lovely! :-* :-* :-*

My favorite old units from my GW days. It's great seeing them again. I use to own all these models, but they've disappeared at some point in the last 20 years.
Great work, thanks for the memories!

Well that has cheered up an otherwise cr*p day for me. Glorious.
They may be 15 years old, but they really look the part.

I love them! These old-school Harlequin elder are also some of my favorites from the past. I'm have a bunch, but very few are painted :?
Yours look lovely, great job on those classic paint schemes -they still had up!
Re: the new ones, I find them hit or miss, but for those that don't like the horns and the little diamonds on the solitaire, those are separate pieces, so could be easily left off (although you'd have to come up with a different face ask).
