Title: Virginia Regiment flag in FIW
Post by: War In 15MM on February 18, 2015, 08:59:26 PM
What flag(s) would the Virginia Regiment have carried in the French and Indian War?  Is there a source for the flags carried by the British provincial regiments in American during the French and Indian War?  Thanks for the help?

Hi, I don't know objectively how accurate this page is, but I've been using it as a reference for my FIW guys:

The flags are toward them bottom.

Orange, this is great.  When I went up to the top of the page and clicked on British Army, it took me to a page that also listed all of the provincial regiments by colony.  Nice drawings of the uniforms.  It appears that the only regiment that carried the flags is the Virginia Regiment.  This is good stuff.  Thank you.  Richard

Not a problem, glad it helped. And yes it's great resource for the other provincials, I based my Pennsylvanians on the scheme I found on there.

I've been using that site for SYW reference. It's great to quickly get an overview for someone new to the period.
