General Pettygree is back in India to end the Thugee menace for all time. His arrival at Imperial Army's most forward staging area appears here:

Story presentation resembles a silent movie. Scroll through images slowly, if you please. There are no captions for the first half of the story. I ask you to imagineer  narration on your own. You can do it. Give it a try. Have fun and participate vicariously. Captions in the last half are very brief, perhaps similar again to movie captions in the 1920s silent movie era.
