Those are a real treat. One of the things I'm enjoying about following your French army project is the exquisite details you taken pains to get correct so, once finished, your army will have a very unique, period correct, feel.
I've struggled to achieve similar results with each of my medieval/renaissance armies so I can appreciate the effort.
