Yep, they certainly are!! :-*

:D
I have to admit that after having a chat with Nick at Hammerhead I did then go and buy more packs of British..
I think they outnumber the Afghan irregulars now! ::)

Most of the figures are really lovely - certainly the ones in that picture are absolutely superb!! I have a bunch of the Brits (without poshteen) and I absolutely love the 'at the ready' poses and the officers, but the firing poses seem not quite so good to me...
Anyway, I hope to get cracking on painting my unit soon. I get the feeling they'll be a joy to paint!
Am especially looking forward to more Guides Sepoys as well...

Nick,
If you're able, can you possibly please tell us when your Highland officer figures will be released? I'm in the US and have been waiting to order your kilted Highlanders along with a bunch of the other figures until I can purchase complete units, rather than placing multiple piecemeal orders.
Thanks very much in advance,
Ethan

Hi Ethan
I don't know when. It's not my range, we just sell it for Artizan Designs, the release schedule is in the hands of Mr Mike Owen.
But I do know he is doing them, and doing them soon along with NCO figures. So hopefully it won't be too long a wait.
Cheers
Nick

Thanks very much for your fast reply, Nick! I'm happy to know Highlander officers and NCOs are definitely in the pipeline. I've been waiting a long time for kilted Highlanders wearing proper equipment and carrying the right weapons for the Second Afghan War, so I can certainly wait a little longer.
Thanks again,
Ethan

This pleases me :D

Love the figures. Wouldn't know what rules to use, however, except possibly the Sword and the Flame, which feel a bit dated to me these days. Maybe the new Osprey rule set will kick my ass into buying more figures...

Maybe.... you could also use Triumph and Tragedy if they're to your liking for the time being?
I should have a few painted up in a day or two and I'll be sure to post up pics when they're finished.

Yeah...I'm stocking up in preparation for The Men Who Would Be Kings. Lion Rampant is such a great set of rules so I'm really looking forward to them for this period!
