Title: Remington's British Paras
Post by: Remington on 02 March 2015, 10:32:49 PM: After the extremely helpful feedback on this forum, I've finaly managed to finish some first Paras. I started with the command, as I decided to use the Warlord Games Paras and they were the only minis I had here with me at the time.

Changing jobs while starting such a project are not really that compatible what decision-making is conserned, but I'll go at them one at a time and try to prevail. :)

Looks like Sicily or Tunisia to me and the base colour of the Denison is about right for the Pattern No 1 used in those theatres .......IMHO :)

I think that the basing looks sorta deserty and arid looking not that I have a problem with that :-*

For shame! :) the Rats are all done by now. Just haven't taken pics of them yet :)

This is my typical base colour recipe which I've slightly made lighter. Interesting that you see them that way. I might have to dull them down a bit. I purposely didn't want a deep, dark brown base though
