While waiting for my Gripping Beast Gladiators I painted a few 20mm scale TQD castings as 1940 Waffen-SS infantry.
I painted a mix of M38 SS Steel Grey and Heer Field Grey uniforms a not uncommon practice in 1940.
The SS-Oscha. helmet is covered with a Platanenmuster camouflage cover.

Excellent brushwork.
Not sure about the grey, but than again I have little clue about 'correct' colours. ;)

Ace painting - the camo on the helmet is amazing! :)
