I hope Tym and Tom do not object to me posting a few pictures of their VBCW sceptical at the West Midlands Military Show today. This is nothing to do with me so I can't take any credit. I was just an awestruck spectator.

Look out for the man fishing in the middle of the battle, the VBCW Ice cream men, the Dad's Army style bathtub tank, the greenhouse...the list goes on. I am not sure what the plot was, or if there was a plot at all, but it sure looked amazing! :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Stunning!
Proper eye-candy indeed.

Tym and Tom always put on a good show, but they've pulled out the stops for this one - well done lads!
-
That looks great, I really like the back-to-back terraces.

Blooming marvellous

God, that looks like such wonderful fun.
I can't seem to spot the fisherman though!

Rob many thanks for posting some pics. Tom has taken some but he is waiting for his laptop to be returned till he can post them. Enjoyed the day and a great amount of interested showed in the game, period, subject and models. I must admit that it is getting to cluttered now and looking less a game more a diaorama!
Thank you for kind comments. I think the fisherman is on Rob's blog?
Also many thanks to our lad Tom who keeps my interest going.

I think I am loosing the plot. I forgot to post the picture of the fisherman. :D

stunning :o

The fishermen are based on one someone else did and posted on one of the forums. They are the Perry ACW camp fire figures. The one holding the rod has a frying pan normally. I will be using them as artillery observers 😁
-
Tym, who made the BUF man on a horse in the photo with the fishermen?
-
Wow that table looks great! :-* Really makes me wish I had other players in the area so we could so something as impressive.

I tell you it's a damn good thing I don't live in the UK, or there'd be no stopping me.

What this man said, in Spades...
Aw hell, throw in the Hearts, Diamonds & Clubs too.
I'm still agog at this, this, ...spectacle!!!

The BUF mounted figure is by Great War Miniatures and is the French mounted dragoon officer. I think.
-
I have found him. It's a shame there is only one in a cap. The ones with helmets don't do it for me (too Napoleonic).
-
I had a good look around the table on Sunday to try to spot all their little vignettes. Very impressive. Thanks for posting some photos for those who couldn't see it in the flesh.
-
Oh thanks for the photos, that's very inspirational! Makes me glad I just ordered the VBCW book ;)

Amazing stuff!
