After painting my British Paratroopers platoon (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=71397), I wished to add an historical opponent to them. Quite obviously my choice was to paint units of the 21. Panzer Division. The fact that Warlord Games released some typical transport was a great opportunity to collect a nice historical force.

I selected Artizan Designs Late War Germans range for it gave me the best ratio of correct minis for 21. Pz. Div. I already began to test the sumpfmüster camo pattern.

Nearly one month after the beginning of my 21. Panzer Division infantry platoon project, I painted 3 squads of panzergrenadiers.

After several weeks of painting, I finished the first step of my 21. Panzer Division infantry platoon project.
I painted three squads of ten panzergrenadiers and a 6 men HQ. All the figures are from Artizan Design.
Most of them wear a hooded smock with the sumpfmuster camo pattern and some of them have a zeltbahn with the splitter camo pattern.
