Hi to everyone. I would like to share with you the new miniatures painted by a partner of the blog Freakland Scenics (http://freaklandscenics.blogspot.com.es/). We have painted a lot of Weird War before, and I hope someone can remember us of the Weird Wars section in the forum.
This week our friend have just finished his band of the Servants of Ra for IHMN. We have now the first cultists and the leader, with the rotten mummy of one of his priests.

Nicely done! Wouldn't have though of using yellow on the robes, but it looks good.

Indeed!!
Splendidly done figures!!
Is the fezzed flunky a conversion?
I didn't discern his origin, so would he be a headswop?
Regardless, good job all around.

North Star Servants of Ra box set
can you please tell me if they are they 28mm, like Artizan or bigger?

Yep. 28mm same as Artizan.
-
These are sweet. I like your vibrant painting, in particular the yellow.
-
They can be combined perfectly with Artizan and other minaitures, in fact, soon we will publish photos about another band based on Artizan an Reaper minis.
-
Yay for the SUN god!
He's a really FUN god!
Ra! Ra! Ra!
-
Nice job. I really like the figures and it's great to see different takes on them. I need to buy them at some point!

The ArtizAn range has grown a little over time, so they fit in perfectly with the newer ranges but are a bit bigger than some of the old ones. For example they size well with the French Foreign Legion figs, but are bigger than the old Pulp Cultist figures. I'd be fine mixing them though as the style is very similar so the size difference doesn't stand out much once based etc.

You've done the yellow justice...that's a color I tend to shy away from myself...

Wonderful stuff
