Hello,
I look for a good skirmish-ruleset for the nice Range of ancient released by Warlod Games. Buildings for this period are rare.
Maybe one of you made some stuff for 7voyages.
Thanks for answers.

People have used Saga adapted to this period.

For small skirmishes, I think that any rule where similar weapons are mentioned could do...

Lion Rampart should also work just fine. Just have Chariots take the place of mounted men at arms or mounted sergeants and us them in groups of 3 instead of 6. Just add bows and javelins.

Lion Rampant adapted certainly would be an idea. Also look at Of Gods and Mortals from Osprey, based on the Songs of Blades and heroes engine...that could be a starter too. 4-onager ass carts would be closer to Mtd Sergeants with a missile capability than Knights in Lion Rampant IMO. 2-ass carts would do for Light cavalry types. Axemen would be akin to foot sergeants and spear and shield used as per the standard rules.
...don't forget to check out the Sumer2Sargon blogspot for a a goodly stack of resources, ideas and pictures of 28mm Sumerians ;)

SAGA or Lion Rampant seem like fine choices for games at the larger end of the skirmish spectrum.
For smaller-scale, if it's fast-play skirmishes that you're interested in then I don't think you can really go wrong with Song of Blades and Heroes, for which there's also Song of Shadows and Dust (more themed around urban conflicts in ancient times), and I think a Song of Spears and Shields for ancient skirmishes in the works. Of Gods and Mortals is the same engine, if you want deities and mythological creatures and heroes.
7th Voyage seems like it could be used without modification, really, since there aren't character classes tying it specifically to Greek or Persian mythology. At its heart, it's just a very cinematic set of skirmish rules for a pre-Black Powder period, IMO, with lots of "sword and sandal" genre flavor heaped on top.
GW's LOTR is similarly adaptable, and you could easily cover this, or almost any historical period before the proliferation of firearms, with those rules. There are even rules for chariots in the skirmish game!

how "skirmish" do you want it.. 7-20 figs? you can use Brink of Battle, I think it is a great system for ancient skirmish, the close combat is very sophisticated accounting for initial vs other combat rounds, weapon reach and many other aspects...
I think itplays like "blod bowl" without the board and for combat, where each action and positioning of a model is critical...
I've used it for dark ages and biblical skirmishes, and I'm hoping to do romans and carthaginians at some point
