As you do, searching online for one thing got me some else of interest. Namely:

Description: Pigeon loft in a bus, France, during World War I. This photograph shows a bus, the back of which has been built up with wood to form a mobile pigeon loft. A corporal is standing beside the bus, lifting out a wicker basket of the type used to transport pigeons. As there is a car parked alongside, it is possible he is collecting a fresh supply of pigeons for the Front. [Original reads: 'OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPH TAKEN ON THE BRITISH WESTERN FRONT IN FRANCE. A Putney motor-bus in France doing service as a mobile pigeon loft.']

Anyone have any idea of what colours were used for that camo?
And anyone thought of making one? I have now, particularly when I searched for more:

This one made me smile:

Intriguing photograph. I am not aware of the British using a camouflage scheme apart from the short lived Solomon scheme on the early tanks.
The corporals uniform is also interesting with the boots he is wearing. Possibly he is from a cavalry unit? Or a despatch rider given a car to drive?

I believe John Jenkins is making one in 54mm.

I made this one for my Wierd World War I/Pulp game I ran a few years ago. I added the superstructure to the plastic truck that came in some of the play sets produced for the old Atlantis movie.
