Title: Colonel Fred Burnaby Belligerent!
Post by: Atheling on March 16, 2015, 07:04:01 PM
Hi,

A nice little vignette of a larger than life Victorian hero- one that has a few rules added on just to spice up the odd game when re-fighting the Second Battle of El Teb (See the Blood on the Nile publication from Warlord Games for details).

There's much more information as well as many more pics on my Shooting Leave Blog as usual:

Who makes the figure ?

The mini is by the Perry's and comes with Blood on the Nile if you order the book from them.

Thanks Harry et al.

I'm beginning to wish that I had really got the hang of Picassa as I seem to have to Export all the pics with the same amount of pixels! Thus the large pics.... it would look better if I could do a few at actual model size- I'll give it a go.

Here's some test pics:

Well done Darrell.

Thanks Richard  :).

i've got to get used to Picassa as my old Photoshop Elements has some serious compatibility issues with Windows 8.1, at least that's what my laptop is telling me!

I think the second lot of pics are much kinder on the eye than the blown up images of the vignette. Or maybe it's a sign of age and I need a perscription!!  lol lol

Bad form old horse to shoot the fuzzies with a popgun, what? There are rumblings at the club about your being black-balled. Use a revolver,  there's a good chap ...

Lovely work Darrell as always. J

You know, he got really heavily criticised for using a shotgun but there's nothing illegal about it- it was a legitimate weapon. Not that i feel particularly sorry for old Burnaby, brave as he was.

Lovely work Darrell as always. J

Thanks James  8).
