Finally took some pictures of the Germans that I have completed so far.

Have not finished all of the bases yet but you get the idea. It has taken awhile to finish these as I painting a FFL force for my dad and some natives all at the same time. Tell me what you think of my boys.

Very impressive.
2 minor points:
Usually schuetztruppen had slouch hats , while you have used the Asienkorps, which was in Palestine.
the command units are a little belgian.
So, the best choices are:
Brigade games, incl. Von Lettow-Vorbeck and Tiger miniatures command unit.
Sailors: Brigade game they have 2 packs of german sailors, 1 of command and one packs sailors with HMG.

I've used that Asien-Korps officer with the Broomhandle Mauser in my Schutztruppe force. The only thing that is actually incorrect about that figure for such use is the fact that he has a state cockade on his cap. That was easily filed off.
Caps, slouch hats (which weren't as common in East Africa as elsewhere) and sun helmets were all used, and I have a mix of them on my East Africa officers and NCOs, though I haven't used any of those caps with the neck-curtains. They do rather shout out Asien-Korps at one, though it is entirely possible that something like that may have been improvised in the field.
Cool collection you have there. Are those sailors Old Glory? They have that look about them.

Thanks for the comments. I should have said that they are for a fictional African colony. I used the Asienkorps because I liked the way the troops looked. The two officers in white are my version of an officer's parade dress uniform in East Africa, and the other officer and NCO are in their Navy blue uniform. All are Foundry Belgian command. The sailors are Old Glory from their Boxer rebellion range, I bought them before Brigade Games made German sailors. I know the uniforms are not 100% accurate but for my fictional African setting they will do since they have already fought against the FFL and fuzzy's.

Lovely work! 8)
This is one conflict I truly love and you have a lovely collection too.
Best thing I find with Brigade Games figures is that they are a joy to convert.

What color/company brown did u use on the regular troopers?
-
I cheated with the khaki uniforms, I used the cheep paint Delta Creamcoat: spice tan and then used the dreaded dip method on it. It came out good for me but I have only used the dip on the khaki and the bag that they carry. Hope this helps.
