Title: Harold Godwinson
Post by: Atheling on March 21, 2015, 11:47:21 PM
To be really honest I can't remember if I've posted these pics up before or not..... I frequent so many different fora you see!

i know I used to use Harold's mug shot as an Avatar but I can't even remember which forum that may have been on!!

The mini was a free giveaway from Gripping Beast at the 1066 And All That WAB Campaign Day back a few years now.

Here you go, Harold Godwinson Feeling Blue:

Excellent!

I love this range from GB too. The models always look a little less than you hope in their raw state, but are truly "painter friendly". A good paint job on a GB model is great to see.

Cheers,
Fred

Thanks Fred. I agree about the GB miniatures being painter friendly. In fact I've got stuff on scattered about their website that I painted a few years ago now. For historical accuracy, I reckon their Norse, Saxon, Anglo Dane, Welsh etc ranges are about the best out there.

Nice painting. Another one here who is a big fan of Gripping Beast; they do paint up nicely. Even the older stuff comes out looking pretty good.
