Excellent. Really like these figures and as I've been getting into Lion Rampant I might pick up a few.

They are excellent miniatures and brilliant sculpts by Mark.....

My one and only gripe would be that the bowmen would be using Warbows (if from Western Europe) and not the shorter variety.

Still, makes Evesham and Lewis real possibilities now  8)

The nice thing about these new releases is this is Mark Sims responding to gamers needs. We were getting lots of orders for Crusader Medieval figures for Lion Rampant, but I said to Mark 'trouble is, there's lots of troop types you don't do'. 'I'll do them then' was his response. Hurrah.

Now they are available, I'll put together some new Lion Rampant army deals.

By the way, have you seen our article about Lion Rampant: http://nstarmagazine.com/crusader_3_1.htm

I'll have to get a hold of Age of Glory here in the US and pick a few packs up from them.  I really like the king figure and I can always use unarmored levy spearmen.

That's what I like to hear- Though I will somehow be converting the bows on the archers.

Its always good to have more medievals!

Since Mr Sims made these in response to demand, some more troops suitable for end of the 12th and the beginning of the 13th Century might be a good thing, as there aren't that many about... :D please.

I love Mark's figures. Very useful release.  :)
Slightly off topic, but with the possible release of Aurelian this year it would be nice to see a couple of additional packs added to Middle Imperial Romans.
(Note, Aurelian will be a set of wargame rules for the 3rd century Roman period by Sam Mustafa - author of Blucher & Longsteet).

Third crusade would be good too.

I think the existing sculpts just about cover the second Barons War, but I am surprised nobody has brought out miniatures to cover the first Barons War, with it being 800 years since Magna Carta was sealed.

Still, I guess there is plenty of this year left for this to happen still.

Very nice. I'm a fan of simple clean sculpts.
