Title: A Parcel From Sally 4th................
Post by: Mad Lord Snapcase on 27 March 2015, 03:32:49 PM
My eagerly-awaited parcel from Sally 4th has arrived. Great excitement here at Snapcase Hall. I have sent Old Scrotum (the wrinkled old family retainer) down to the cellars to bring up a bottle of particularly fine port I have been saving for a special occasion.

More later..........................

Suit you, Sir!

Unpacking of my large package has been delayed. Currently my immersion tank is leaking and water is coming through the kitchen ceiling!  Bollocks!  >:( >:( :'( :'(

Normal service will be resumed shortly...................

Right, well domestic issues are temporarily solved but it looks like a new immersion tank (and that probably means a new bathroom), a big slice out of this year's lead budget!  :'(

However, I will tease you with some more photos but I'm going to have to wait (buggeration!) until tomorrow now to unpack and assemble properly, until then..............................

Commiserations on the bathroom business, mate.
 :'(

But that is one impressive hoard to help you get over it.
It should keep you busy for a fair while.

Immersion Bath? One can only shudder to think what might be immersed at Snapcase Manor! Perhaps a covey of juvenile fishmen, the latest Busby Berkeley extravaganza, or just massive quantities of bathtub gin  :D

Spot on chaps! A lot of things have been immersed in that ancient bath over the years but here is a picture of Young Dollop, the stable boy and his father producing another bath-tub full of the reviving fluids.

Well, I've spent all day gluing all the bits together and I'm well pleased (SWMBO not so pleased!). It's not until you assemble these Terrablocks from Sally 4th that you see how much attention there is to detail. You get a piece of Perspex for each window and then a frame either side and a sill which looks great. Even the doors have handles and keyholes (and the sliding doors slide!). It is very easy to put together and now it's ready for a game. Unfortunately it appears rather addictive and now I'm planning to buy more!  ;)

So here's what I've got so far.....................

So now, I can reveal all. I was rather taken with the picture of the warehouse on the Sally 4th website. I e-mailed Chris but it transpired that there were a very large amount of Terra-Blocks in that picture and it was somewhat outside of my budget. However, Chris very kindly spent some time putting together a smaller warehouse and working out what I needed to buy to construct it and this is the result. Thanks, Chris for excellent customer service and a product which I'm going to use again and again................

As I'm making progress with my new cult (some say one of them is not even human!), I thought I would photograph them at the warehouse, stealing essential supplies for their trip to British Somaliland. Although nothing has happened on that post since July last year, I'm still working on it. The game is still afoot, Watson.

I think you could say everyone is enjoying the view of your package - what Chris needs to do now is put the new 'warehouse' design up for sale as well...it is indeed a good size.

Ooh, err, missus!  lol

The warehouse I have is certainly big enough. I think it would look good to have some smaller buildings across the road. I have made a smaller warehouse here but with an office type complex off the back. This would also work well as part of my secret rocket base for pulp and KKBB.

Hi Martin,

That looks fantastic, very glad you like it.
It is always great to see what other people do with their Terra-Blocks.
I will put this package together as a bundle later this week, in case any one else is interested, and I hope to have some photo's to share later today of our photorealistic Pub.

We used the Warehouse terrain a lot when we were playtesting 'Vice Alley' for Dave, it has a great 1920's feel with the right props.

Yes, that's how I see it. Unfortunately I have a lot of figures ready for that Vice Alley game but they are not painted yet. I want to get the Green Hornet done and D.A. Denton and I have a few more in mind.
