Can anyone point me to the company that recently (well, like recently - during the last year, anyway...) brought out some lovely dragoons? I do not remember the exact period, but they were definitely useable for some pirate/smuggler hunting....
I tried searching for dragoons here, but I do not think I found them....

The Assault Group do some dismounted German Dragoons with "Horse Holders". Are you after mounted dragoons?

Sounds like it might be Outpost Wargame Services you're talking about. They only made four dragoons (including the officer) for their Highwaymen range but they all come both mounted and dismounted.

Outpost is the one! Thanks!
Orctrader, are you thinking of these:

Quite interesting, too...

I think Foundry had some in their 18th century lot together with smugglers & civilians.

They have, thanks. It was the Outpost ones I was thinking of, though - I like their Highwayman-range VERY much - especially that most characters come as well mounted as dismounted!!! Much more companies/sculpters should do that!
Must....have....those....minis.... ;D

Yes, I was thinking of those pictured.
Regarding "Outpost" which I had forgotten, what are the figures like in terms of scale/size and quality?

Haven't got any, yet, but they are listed as 28 mm.
As far as I can see, with a slightly better paintjob, they'll look great - and they are quite inexpensive, too (£1 for a foot mini, £2 for a mounted):

I have several of the Outpsot figures and they fit in reasonably well with other makes.
The highwayman in long coat with blunderbuss is very nice. What I really like baout their figures is that each figure comes with a mounted version. Ideal for these types of game.
