Title: Victorian Steel Questions
Post by: mdomino on April 15, 2015, 03:28:31 PM
Greetings. Have looked at the AARs of Victorian Steel, as I am still on the hunt for a decent Mutiny rule set. Those of you who have the set or have played it, can you give me an idea of the basing conventions? My figs are based 4 foot on 40x40. How does the set deal with rifled muskets (enfield) vs smoothbore? On the back cover there is a long list of colonial conflicts from the 1830s until after the turn of the century. Are there army lists for all of these conflicts; in essence, are there army lists in the book? I can't seem to see it mentioned? Thanks much.

From what I remember I don't think it matters much as long as there's consistency in the basing convention; you might want to try the Queen Vic forum which was set up my the authors of the rules:
