Title: Great Siege of Malta
Post by: Dalcor on April 17, 2015, 02:26:02 PM
Could any one please suggest any models for Great Siege of Malta and consequently European/Ottoman Empire wars?
This is period I would really like to try with Lion Rampant, but I can not find any appropriate models.

This might not be helpful, but an Italian company, Venexia, had a beautiful range of Ottoman and Italian figures in 15mm, and these ranged from around 1500 to 1600 if I remember correctly. Some of the sets and idividual models could be used for the 1565 siege of Malta, although you'dneed some impressive scenery to represent the walled cities and forts.
Venexia had been closed; it had a UK distributor some years back. I believe someone on the forum mentioned that it's moulds had been purchased by another company, but cannot recall where I saw this.
