Outstanding looking game.
Love everything about it.
May I ask, who makes the French Foreign Legion figures?

Those are Artizan Designs.

That looks like a great game, I especially like your game mat.

We used a home brew set of rules ... very "beer and pretzels" and fast paced. I give a short summary of the rules at the end of the post:
Each model can take two actions (move/move, move/shoot, shoot/move or shoot/shoot).
d10s are used to resolve fire a melee.
Movement sticks are used - marked in "half" for each movement action you can take. Short stick is used for foot movement, longer stick for cavalry.
A yard stick is used for rifle fire (a shorter one for pistols) - marked from 9 down to 1. You put the "9" end at your model and see the number that your target is at --- that is the roll (or lower) you need to hit. Modifiers (moving, cover) push this number out (below 1 is an impossible shot).
If you take casualties, you take a morale test at the beginning of your next turn.
Each player/group rolls for initiative at the start of the turn ... roll a d10 and activate units from highest rolling player to lowest.
We are looking at writing them down and maybe publishing them up for download.

Sorry - have seen that now, was late for wokr and didn't get to read the whole thing.

And yes that would be great.

Yeah, that's good news. I'm always interested in new rules- especially if they have simple mechanisms :)

Brilliant! Great table :-*

Lovely looking set-up. And a great AAR. :D
Have some legion primed ready for paint in the queue at the moment.
-
Fantastic set-up, scenery, miniatures and game! :-* I particularly like the way you have casualty miniatures making the battlefield look 'real'. A great set of photos on your blog which I drooled over for some time.
In particular, I am very envious of the bar facilities in your man cave! Brilliant! :-*

I like how you resolve pistol range...great idea...
-
Splendid stuff, I like your firing method.

Yup, I need to get to painting casualties for my other periods now. The bar was a great early investment in the man cave - what's better than beer and wargames :D

Are the FFL casualties also Artizan? I don't recall them making any. Did you convert them?
-
Casualties are WW1 French casualties from a few different lines.
