Title: Bolt Action Panzer 38(T) I've painted for an Interwar setting
Post by: tabletop on April 23, 2015, 12:32:47 AM
No markings, and rather badly weathered by its time in the desert. Apparently 50 of these were sold to Iran pre-WWII. Some more details are here (http://www.tabletop-terrain.com/archives/2015/04/07/1866/pulp-bolt-action-panzer-38t-in-worn-desert/).

Nice work and an out of the ordinary subject too, which is always good.  :)

This one looks fantaaastic and deserves much more positive feedback.
Good job.

Thanks all! Yeah I'm quite happy with it. The only downside is that it was painted with a massive gap of years in between. That's why the turret is slightly redder than the main body. I couldn't find the matching ink to finish the body off years later!

I hadn't noticed until you mentioned it, I assumed it was a trick of the light. Like Driscoles I am surprised this has not garnered more feedback... I think you've done a great job on it. Some appropriate Parsi decals are all that's needed now I think.

I think the slightly mismatched colours make it look even more delightfully scruffy.

Agreed, I love it. Maybe it needs some opposition:

Early WWII Soviets or British were the opposition... but as 'government irregulars' they would work for me.  :)
