Hello, new to the forum - thought I'd post some of my Chinese Warlord force, which I use to play some BoB/Pulp games with friends.

All extremely well done. I especially like the tats on the dare to die guy.

Far from contemptible, they are excellent! I always like it when a whole force is presented like this. Nice one werekake. :)

Good looking troops there :-*

Those look really nice, and I would echo the comment on the tattoo.
And I've not seen too many Chinese in green uniforms, but it's an excellent choice, and you executed it very well.
-
Thanks for the kind words, guys - much appreciated!
I'm surprised the tattoo was noticed, you guys have eagle-eyes. It's the scales of a dragon, much like a koi, going up the arm and then the dragon itself is on the back of the trooper's head.
As for the green uniforms, more of a stylistic choice - inspired by modern PLA.
Cheers.

Fine work sir!

Really nice Warband you got there. Those are copplestone casts, are they?
-
Welcome werekake; a nice little army you've got there.
-
Thanks everyone.
Yep they're Copplestone miniatures - paint up so nicely, almost felt like they were painting themselves!
Von Lucky - time for you to get your interwar germans painted, so we can have some german mercenaries operating in the Back of Beyond. ;)

Looking good.

Very nice...chapeau...

I like a lot :-* :-* please post more

Well, the green uniforms were not unheard of in the warlord period even if khaki and gray-blue were more common. I have seen a couple of colorized period photo of people in greenish hues, it appears that there were some sales of surplus American field tunics and trousers after 1919.
(PS: modern PLA is camoed for combat and the Class A uniform is a mixe between green and a bluish thing... they switched from the old green sometime ago, I think before my friends got in because they complained they have to change Camo but not class A).
