Title: (COMMERCIAL) PayPal dispute period change - now available up to 180 days
Post by: FramFramson on 25 April 2015, 06:33:18 AM
I know there have been some folks who've had issues with one vendor or another on a miniatures deal so I thought I should mention something I came across today. Apparently, at some point late last fall, Paypal changed their terms of service to lengthen the time you can dispute a transaction for either Item Not Received or Item Significantly Not As Described from 45 days to 180 days.

This change went unpublicized (no doubt due to vendor rage), but you can see discussion on it on ebay/paypal/e-commerce forums if you google it and more importantly, if you look at recent transactions in your paypal history, you'll see it giving you the option to dispute payments up to this period. Obviously this does not apply to payments made before the changes were enacted.

Thank you FF, good to know!!

I've long been comfortable with PayPal, such a change only increases that.
