Hi,
I havent been on this forum for a while and was thinking that I might expand my collection of FoA Vietnam figures but find that the Wargames Command Post (who currently stock FoA figs) are out of stock of a wide range of the figures.
Does anyone know if he is restocking this line or winding down to let someone else carry the range ?
Many thanks
Regards

I hope he doesn't mind me saying, but John has been out of commission with I'll health for a while again (following his most recent posts here) but hopes to be back soon. He's recently completed some PAVN heavy weapons and sappers which are excellent (especially the AAMG). I'm not sure when WCP will be getting them back in but try his eBay shop for some bargains. I picked up a load from Bob there recently.
FoA are my favourite Vietnam range, they're worth waiting for.

Steve, can you porst some pics?

Sure, my phone is fixed now (sort of) so I can take a few snaps. I'll try and get some tonight, if I remember!

Thanks for the info Elk101, I'm looking forward to the new releases - it is Vietnamese I'm after (an RPG team would be good to even the odds against my US M48 !)
I checked WCP ebay store but no Vietnamese up for grabs :(

Sappers, note the option to have a ladder carrying team:

Wow! Those are nice. I don't suppose you have any pics of the Australians per chance? As I on a big 1960s theme I'm kinda of tempted to revisit the Vietnam War and everyone tells me that Bob's figures are the best of the lot.

Thank you, very nice.

I've got a single pack of Australians. Unfortunately I couldn't get any of the command figures. I'll get some photos for you.

Cheers!

Cheers! Much appreciated Elk,
Super long bang sticks and the occasional bare forearm aside, those do look quite good. Will have to wait until John gets back on his feet.

Indeed. These FoA Vietnam miniatures look very good. Where and when will they be available again? And how do they size up to the Vietnam TAG line of miniatures? Cheers.

Nice! FN-FAL, I love the look of those. :)

I know from experience that the L1A1 had 'reach', but being able to poke your target in the eye with the flash-hider at 300 yards seems excessive though.
:D
That aside though, great-looking figures... from memory the U.S. ones were very good too. :)

Nice to here the very kind comments :D
I am doing a few castings - trying to get back after various health and family issues and no I don't mind a bit as a)it's true and b) I posted it as well.
Look I do (slowly) pick up me business emails (contactus@forceofarms.co.uk) If people do want to order I can send a sort of list - we do have all those figures but not the M113s - on list that is. And honestly if you want to order I will fulfil them - it would be a pleasure and maybe help with a sort of kick up the backside.
Keep rolling the dice lads (in a non-gender specific meaning)
Cheers John

Great to hear from you John. I do still need to pick a couple of packs from you like I said I would!
Cheers

Feel free to stop by more often and we might be able to drum up a few more for you. I make no promises, but who knows, you might even find that kick up the backside in the various discussions here too. We need our 'moderns' gaming stalwarts fighting-fit and churning out more lead!
Or at least talking about it. ;)

I'd like those Australians

Those are BEAUTIFUL figures! I have to get my hands on some of those, especially the AAMG and crew. And John, glad to hear you're doing better. I was getting concerned after the last email from you. All the best and wishes for a speedy return to health.

Left to right:
Force of Arms Australian
Force of Arms US
Force of Arms Vietnamese
Force of Arms Vietnamese sapper
Baker Company US helicopter pilot
Parkfield US
Parkfield Vietnamese
I hope this is useful. All the sapper figures are crouched over so appear shorter.

Very useful, so thanks. :)
As for the height of the Vietnamese...

So to me the FOA figures are as they should be. :)

Thanks Elk. Useful indeed.

I like the size mix myself too. I think it looks right. The weapons are similar enough amongst ranges too, so that doesn't jar.
