Painted a few blackshirts on a whim, seeing as I live 5 minutes away from the leaders former residence. any criticisms welcome.

They look excellent and I'm horribly jealous of your painting. Tell me, how did you get the corporal's stripes so damned perfect? When I try and do stripes/chevrons, they are a real mess, even after lots of retouching, redoing and swearing.
Very nice work (grrr).

Very tidy painting :-* :-* :-*

Very nice sir!
(Doug, IIRC the stripes are cast on these minis, though I still managed to bodge the ones on mine!)
-
Cast on chevrons, started with grey then white with a black wash and neatening around and a final touch up with canary yellow. Using tiny brushes helps as well, I posted the ones I use (£1.50 for 7!)on my chinese thread in the BoB section.

Finished off the set.

Brilliant :-*

Criticism? They look very handsome!

Excellent painting, a really impressive unit.

Nice work!

Very well done there and rather accurate action press uniform too. I like the little touches with the correct ranks on the should boards
