Hi,
some questions we get playing last evening
1: can I use mystical powers in close combat? (mesmerising in our case)
2: did I has to test if my Vampire want to transform to a Bat like normal mystical Powers?
cheers

In the book it states in which phase you can use each Mystical Power so, for example, Mesmerism is cast in the Movement Phase (not the Fighting Phase).

Ok but I wasnt shure if I can still use it in the movement phase if the character is in b2b with another model

Ah. Okay. I think this is one of those 'do what you think makes sense' things as it does not explicitly say one way or the other. Personally, I don't see why not...as long as the character can make eye contact with the intended victim then Mesmerism should be possible!

great
we did it that way yesterday.
Unfortunately the dude (some important guy from grey section) knocked himself down trying to mesmerize one of my constables :D

lol Must have been the strain of trying to use his powers whilst dodging those truncheons!

I am happy to confirm that you can indeed use mystical powers if you are in base to base contact with a foe :D
