Title: The Wickes Pink Foam Clearout!
Post by: Dewbakuk on May 04, 2015, 01:49:39 PM: Just to let people know, Wickes is clearing their Knauf pink foam boards at £1.99 each. Unfortunately none are to be found in any of the stores in the Nottingham area :(

If you live just north of Brighton though, one of the stores there has 370 sheets in stock!

Yup but experiment first as it can be a bit of a trick to get it right.

Thanks. Just noticed I typed "car able" but of course I meant car able! Does anyone know if they are ceasing to stock it or if it's just a seasonal discount?

I assume you meant carvable, to which the answer is yes.

Ceasing to stock it, I read elsewhere that Knauf have stopped making that particular type.

They do stock other foams, just not the ones good for modelling.
