Don't normally post pictures of painted units but i finished them yesterday after they had sat on the painting tray for ages.

I have saved the spartan heads for a spartan un armoured unit.

They do look very nice. Good variation of shield designs, yet a unit nicely tied together by uniform colours.
You may continue posting photos of painted minis. ;)

Thanks for the feedback, I try and make each unit look slightly different with different colour theme or style. So they can give the feel of being raised in different states or towns. Then when they are all together on the battlefield they look like a mixed army.

Lovely! Good to know there are guys who also paint some unarmoured hoplites :)
