Those of you who follow my Facebook page have seen these but here are my new Vaqueros Americanos for the new PMX Mexican Revolution range scheduled for an August initial release.
Northstar will release them simultaneously in the UK and EU.
That's Tom Mix in the white hat.

Very nice! We'll need some of these for sure. :D :D
-
Great looking sculpts!
-
Cool figures! 8)
-
Ooo I like those! :-*
-
Oh yes, will be buying these! :-*
-
I think I will need a set of those as well.
Sally 4th will be stocking them!
-
Nice work, Bob. 8)
-
Amazing! :o
...as mentioned multiple times on Facebook lol
-
bob - fantastic! any thoughts to doing some cowgirls?
-
Nice! How are the Mohawks coming along? Wasn't there going to be a whole range of Woodland Indians?
-
The first set of 12 Indians are finished/painted and ready. I have 6 more sculpts finished for the second set. 6 to go and then the monsters/mythology set. Below are 5 of the 6 new sculpts.
I'll be meeting Howard Whitehouse at Enfilade for some at show play testing and then we'll return to my mountain lair to drink whiskey...er work on the rules further.
We, (Crucible Crush and Pulp Figures) are planning to attend Historicon and hope to have some pre-release Iroquoian figures with us for sale. No guarantees but that's the plan.
-
I'm having a little fun with some studio shots.
-
Nice!
What is the scope of the range going to be?
-
Currently on the sculpting plate:
Zapatista Peone soldiers
Federales soldiers and Federales Officers, Federales mounted soldiers
Vultures
Americano Volunteers
Boy soldiers
A 7.7 artillery piece
Mounted cowboys
-
That's a grand list you have there Bob.
Can't help thinking of Bob Mitcham in a bi-plane :)
-
Wow! I am even more excited about this than I am at the Cowboys lol

top stuff, Bob, you made me want to start my Old West city again!
btw, just moved the topic to the Old West board.
-
Wow! These have got a real 'Saturday morning pictures' vibe about them.
-
Bob, are you still planning on doing "civilians" for the early Indian range?
-

Yep! :D
-
Bob, as Howard will no doubt tell you, I'm one of your biggest fans and will be buying every single figure in this line.
But can't we please have a Lieutenant Patton, Peacemaker in hand, preferably with a dead Villista slung over the hood of a Model T?
-
In spite of reality, this is still how I picture cowboys. Too many Gary Cooper and John Wayne films as a youth, I guess. Excellent work!
-
Gorgeous Mr. Murch!
I am in awe Sir.
-
Saw these in person at Enfilade. Beautiful! Unfortunately, my budget kept me from buying them out. It is a slim year this year.
-
A new set of American Volunteers for the Revolution are fresh outa the mould. I am hoping to have the first 5 sets of Mexican Revolution figs available as a pre-release special at Historicon.
PMX-1 Villistas 1
PMX-2 Vacaros Americanos
PMX-3 Zapatistas 1
PMX-4 Mercenarios Americanos
PMX-10 Saguaro Cacti
-
Ay Caramba!!
Muy Bueno!!
Muchas Gracias, Señor Murch!!
Viva La Revolución!!

Those Indians are fantastic, definately looking forward to seeing more!
-
Brilliant. :D
-
Muy bueno. :-* :-*
There goes my savings. :?
-
Zapatistas getting ready for Historicon.
-
A bit too well armed for Zapatistas, methinks. When it comes to firearms they were forced to rely mostly on captures, so there'd have been more older and civilian models such as Remingtons and Winchesters than Mausers, and even some muzzle-loaders. Also, going by photos and the Osprey book, the most common costume was a shirt tucked into belted trousers - although no one really produces such figures in 28mm (Monday Knights does them in 25mm), so we have to make do with the Old West peon look.
-
This is the other Mexican revolution set that will be available at Historicon.
-
Wonderful stuff, such characterful sculpts. :)
-
Any news about the availability for these cowboys and mexicans?
-
No civilians?
-
Very cool. I can't wait to collect them.
-
"Badges? We don need no stinking badges!"
-
Very nice! (I hadn't noticed them previously), they give great ideas of new adventures.
-
I'm in love with the Professionals set. :-*
-
When these will be available through NorthStar Miniatures ?

When these will be available through NorthStar Miniatures ?
Yes I'd like to know if northstar will be getting the Mexican packs in?
-
I've just sent the masters off to Northstar so it shouldn't be too long.
-
Great !
Old fashion style for the cow-boys.....Looks excellent.
Now, we need a Winnetou Apache hero like this one (from the German Movie, of course)

I can't wait to take a pack home at the weekend to get painted up.
-
Great new Chris.
You don't align with Bob promo Buy 5 packs get 6 packs ?
Just asking.
-
I should have mentioned that these are eligible for Sally 4th's normal Pulp Figure deals.
We include free bases in every pack, by default our very popular 25mm Clear Perspex bases but any thing else available on request and If you purchase 10 packs of Pulp Figures from us we will include a free 70mm high Warchest and an insert for holding 48 miniatures mounted on 25mm round bases.
-
These look great! I already have a bunch of the Pulp figures, but I'm curious as to how well these scale to the old Foundry Old West range - I have LOADS of them (but I can always use more!) but obviously I'd like them to be fairly close in scale if at all possible....anyone have both that can help?
-
Those are fantastic...will the mounted cowboys be versions of the dismounted ones?
-
right out of a Peckinpah movie !

Theses are fantastic miniatures. I have a stack of Foundry Old West miniatures so will bring some into work next week to photo against the Pulp Figures.

-
Any scale pictures with Foundry/Black Scorpion etc?
-
How do these scale with artizan?
-
Pulp usually mixed very well with Artizan. So they should mix well with newer Foundry and well enough with BS if you cheat a little bit with the basing.
-
Thanks treebeard, more to buy then lol
-
When are the Federales coming Bob.
