Hi,
I didn't have much time lately to do anything related to minis, but I thought it would be a nice thing to make people aware that Patrol Angis is available for preorder on the Ion Age website (the same people who run Alternative Armies) : http://theionage.com/collections/15mm-publications (http://theionage.com/collections/15mm-publications)
For those who don't know it, it's a 15mm sci fi skirmish game set in the Ion Age. The Ion Age is a lovely setting, filled with space knights, rebellions, civil wars, princesses kidnapped and evil aliens coming back to threaten the galaxy.
Also it mostly reminds me of the 90s, in spirit and in looks, when game settings gave you a framework in which you could imagine your own things.
I can't say much about the rules themselves, as I didn't read them yet of course, but the offer proposed on the Ion Age website should interest most 15mm sci-fi gamers here: 34 pounds for the rulebook and around 40 unique 15mm minis.
Really worth a look!

15 mm always seems like a tough sell around here, but I've really enjoyed the Ion Age figures I've painted. They've got a fun style and lots of variety. I can't say anything about the game, but Ion Age seem very customer-oriented so I expect a lot of effort has gone into making a good rule set :)
