Yep, the main color and camouflage are airbrushed, and then the details and weathering are done with a brush.

Hey Cosmo, your Ma.k. is great, and I picked up the idea, putting one in the next Vergeltungswaffen episode... here's a taster:

I know the feeling.  I have some Germans and Americans basecoated, but then that stupid  "real life" thing got in the way.  It's always interfering with my hobbies!   :D
