Title: Hello from the beautiful West Midlands
Post by: brian horrocks on 21 May 2015, 09:04:39 PM
Hello all
Been wargaming since the 70's using Bruce Quarries Napoleonic rules, havent been very interested for a few years and even now I am only into dabbling.
However I love to paint figures as its the best escape from the real world that doesn't rot your liver or ruin your health!
My main interest is Napoleonics 25mm or 28mm 1805 to 1812 but I have a taste for ACW (irregular units in particular) WW2 NW Europe.
I cannot say I'll be the most prolific poster but its nice to be a member rather than a lurker.

If you fancy dabbling in the club scene, the October Club would be happy to have you. They meet just off Five Ways on Tuesday.

"Gentlemen, this is a story to tell your Grandchildren - and *mightily* bored they'll be!" XD General Horrocks, A Bridge to Far

(sorry, first thing I thought of when I saw your Forum name and Avatar)

Welcome! We have a lot of fun and learn a lot around here.

And for myself, painting minis is better than medication or therapy. :)
